Hmmm... This report was created just a few minutes after Steorn went down, around 10:10, I think.

'I've just tried pinging Steorn's listed primary and secondary server addresses and they're both working fine (ave ping response for each packet consistently just above the 100ms ballpark)...

Ah. Thanks for the links. I didn't realise that folks were using another site to chat. Seems like lots of people know about the problem.

So did Steorn not pay their bills or
Did they pull the plug because of whipmag or
Has the server crashed and there's just none around to fix it?
